At BOUSSELHAM (“we”, “us”, or “our”), privacy is not an afterthought or marketing claim—it is enforced by cryptographic architecture. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, handle, and protect your information when you use Nowa Chat: Meet New People.
1. Strong End-to-End Encryption
The app provides strong end-to-end encryption for all personal communications:
- Private Conversations: Your messages, photos, and voice notes are protected by end-to-end encryption. Only you and the person you are chatting with have the ability to read or listen to them.
- No Third-Party Access: We cannot read your private communications, and third parties cannot intercept them.
- Protected Media: Media attachments are encrypted before transmission, ensuring complete privacy during delivery.
2. Information We Collect and Retain
To provide reliable authentication and secure message delivery, we collect only the minimal data necessary:

3. Message Delivery and Retention
- Encrypted In-Transit Delivery: When you send a message, it is transmitted in encrypted form through our delivery network to reach your recipient.
- Immediate Deletion Upon Delivery: As soon as the recipient receives the message, it is immediately deleted from our delivery servers.
- Offline Queue Limit: If the recipient is offline, undelivered encrypted messages are retained temporarily for a maximum of 14 days before being automatically removed.
4. Push Notifications
To alert you of incoming messages:
- We send generic notification alerts to your mobile device.
- Private Notifications: Push alerts do not display private message previews on your lock screen, helping you maintain complete privacy in public environments.
5. Media Attachments and Storage
- Photos, voice notes, and media files are encrypted on your device before upload.
- Encrypted attachments are held temporarily strictly to facilitate delivery to your recipient.
- Automatic Expiry: Undownloaded media files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers after 14 days.
6. Single Active Device Policy
For your security and peace of mind, Nowa Chat allows one active device per account at any time:
- Logging in on a new device automatically logs out any previous session.
- This protects your account against unauthorized access or session hijacking across multiple devices.
7. User Rights and Data Deletion
Under applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you hold the right to:
- Access and export your account profile and ledger data.
- Correct inaccurate profile attributes.
- Request immediate and permanent deletion of your account.
To delete your account:
- Navigate to in-app Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Confirm your identity.
- Alternatively, visit our web deletion portal at
/delete-accountor email support@nowa-chat.com. Upon deletion, your account record, public keys, active device registrations, and point ledger associations are permanently expunged.
8. Age Requirements and Children’s Privacy
Nowa Chat is intended strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 18. If we become aware that an individual under 18 has created an account, we will immediately terminate the account, revoke sessions, and purge all associated data. 9. International Transfers and Governing Law
Information collected is processed in secure facilities. By accessing Nowa Chat, you acknowledge that your account data may be transferred to and maintained on systems governed by applicable data protection laws.
